Fiona believes that both horse and rider must be treated as individuals to reach their full potential, and that the basic building blocks of communication, control, and confidence are essential for a happy horse and rider combination. she teaches a variety of riders of different ages and abilities, here are some of her current clients.
I use a walkie talkie and head set on riders when teaching individual lessons, this allows me to teach from any point in the school including behind the rider which is useful for checking straightness. Using this system my voice has no input on the horse, and the rider can hear at all times, this includes riders working on cross country fences or when they are riding at a distance! I also use Clipps of film taken during a session so that the rider can see exactly what they are doing, and enable them to make corrections.
I generally work within a 20 mile radius of Edenbridge, but for a half or full day I will travel further by special arrangement.
The full lesson fee is charged if less than 24 hours notice is given for cancellation.
