RDA

I am the Senior Instructor for the local Lingfield and District Riding for the Disabled Group, teaching blind, learning disabled and physically disabled children and adults. The riders gain enormous physical benefits from riding as well as the enjoyed contact with horses and the interaction with the volunteer helpers .The helpers too enjoy exercise, new friendships, and the reward of helping others. We run classes on Thursdays 10.00 till 12.00 and 2.00 till 4.00 and Fridays 10.00 till 12.00 We are hoping to expand our lesson times, and offer more spaces. But we need more volunteers to do so. If you are able to offer an hour of your time it could make a huge difference to a disabled person!

I am also on the Southeast Committee, as a Training Adviser, Examiner, Dressage Coordinator, Coaching Coordinator, Instructor for Kent, and organiser for the Regional Competition at Hickstead.

If you are interested in finding out about volunteering please contact Linda Queen 01342836388 Group Organiser and Treasurer.
